Turning A New Page Book Festival is proud to announce that reviewer Rebecca Maney will be joining us as a panelist on January 27, 2024.

Rebecca grew up in Asheville, North Carolina. Following her graduation from Bryan College in Dayton, Tenn. with a degree in Christian Education, she moved to Gastonia, North Carolina in order to accept the position as the Director of Christian Education at First A. R. P. Church. After serving nine years, she worked in retail management for three years before marrying her husband of 31 years, Brice Maney.

Returning to Christian Education, she served as the D. C. E. for Pisgah A. R. P. Church for nine years before returning to First A. R. P. Church as the Director of Children’s Ministry for the next eighteen years prior to her retirement in May of 2023.

Four children and five grandchildren later, Rebecca renewed her passion for a good story by becoming an avid reader once again. She facilitates her church book club, populates two church libraries, reviews a couple of hundred books a year, participates in annual reader/author events and has met dozens of authors in a variety of settings.
