Perry’s own Jackie K Cooper is a film and book critic whose reviews appear on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Rotten Tomatoes. His reviews also run in an assortment of newspapers in Georgia. He is a featured guest on radio and TV shows across the South and will join us on January 27, 2024 at First Baptist Church for Turning a New Page book festival.

Cooper is the author of eight books: Journey of a Gentle Southern Man, Chances and Choices, Halfway Home, The Bookbinder, The Sunrise Remembers, Back to the Garden, Memory’s Mist. His latest memoir is The Wisdom of Winter.
