Can you feel the excitement in the air? One of Perry’s own, LeAnn Tuggle will be a children’s literature panelist for Turning a New Page book festival on January 27, 2024 at First Baptist Church, Perry.

LeAnn S. Tuggle lives in Perry, Georgia, with her husband Rob and yellow Lab Jep. She is a former middle school teacher and school media specialist who is currently active in church and community activities. She received her Bachelor of Science in political science and Master’s of Education from Georgia College.     Le Ann published her first book, Let’s Go Fishing in 2005 and edited El Viajero for a family friend in 2019. She also wrote a popular weekly column for the Houston Home Journal for several years.      As a grandmother, she often arranges her schedule in order to host her grandchildren and entertain them. Tuggle also enjoys needlepointing, gardening, and traveling.
