Lerita Coleman Brown is a most grateful heart (29 years) and kidney (18 years) transplant recipient and survivor of several other medical ordeals. She lives in Stone Mountain, Georgia, with her husband and their family includes two grown children, and one grandchild. Lerita savors reading, sitting in nature, gardening, sewing, watching college football, writing, viewing the visual and performing arts, telling stories, and laughing a lot. Retired from a career as a psychology professor, Lerita currently serves a spiritual director/companion, author, retreat leader, and speaker. She earned her BA from UC Santa Cruz and PhD from Harvard University.
